The Panasonic HC-X1600E digital camcorder offers professional performance in a compact body, ideal for long field shoots. 4K 60p camcorder built for creators on the go
While the Panasonic HC-X1600E excels in mobility and portability, the included high-capacity battery provides 6 hours and 10 minutes of shooting time (60 Hz)and compact body when shooting, taking into account the weight balance of advanced features. In addition, a heat dissipation structure equipped with an ultra-thin fan allows the compact and lightweight body to be combined with 4K 60p ultra-high definition recording.
5-axis HYBRID O. I. S. +
The Panasonic HC-X1600E digital camera uses five-axis correction to thoroughly suppress blur from wide-angle to high zoom images. The Image Stabilizer Bearing reduces wear in the drive section and excellently improves correction of small-amplitude hand tremor.
High-precision AF autofocus in 4K mode
Face Detection accurately captures subjects on location without blurring or underexposure issues. The addition of colour recognition also improves object tracking without interruption when the face moves sideways. In addition, the camera records in 4:2:2 1-bit colour profile up to LongGOP UHD 29.97p/25p (150 Mbps) or FHD 59.94p/50p (100 Mbps) on SD card. Output 10-bit UHD 59.94p/50p frames via HDMI.
Versatile recording mode
The Panasonic HC-X1600E supports a high bit rate of 100 Mbps for 4K 59.94p/50p video recording with HEVC codec (LongGOP/10bit 4:2:0/MP4) and 120/100fps* Super Slow-motion with 10-bit FHD recording.

Manual rings and tilting viewfinder
There are two manual rings, one for focusing and another for zoom or aperture control. The use of hand rings is improved by using rings of different sizes at the front and back so that they can be distinguished with the fingers. The 1,770,000-dot-equivalent folding colour viewfinder includes a convenient flip-up option. The large eyepiece is comfortable for both left and right eye.
LCD display and user buttons
The camera has a 3.5-inch LCD monitor with about 2,760,000 dots, which has an RGB pixel structure for high legibility in bright light and an electrostatic touch panel for easy menu selection. User buttons can be assigned 46 functions. A total of 13 user buttons are available: six on the body and seven on the LCD touch panel. O buttons. I. S. and AE LEVEL can also be used as user buttons.
ND filter and two SD card slots
ND filters are built into the lens to suppress incident light. Filters can be selected (1/4, 1/16, 1/64 or DELETE) according to the environment. Use the filter option when shooting at slow shutter speeds in bright daylight. Two SD card slots are also available, allowing unlimited* session recording through easy SD card swapping and simultaneous recording and background recording** for high recording reliability.
*When the recording time of a session reaches 10 hours, the recording will temporarily stop and then automatically restart after a few seconds.
**Only MP4 FHD format is supported.
Wireless control from tablet or smartphone and streaming capability
The built-in 5 GHz / 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi module allows you to connect only the body of the device to Wi-Fi. The HC ROP app on a tablet or smartphone can also control the wireless live view camera. The camera offers HD streaming capability that is compatible with RTSP/RTP/RTMP/RTMPS allowing distribution of streams for concerts, sporting events and news on Facebook, YouTube, etc.

Practical details
The USB-C port allows you to power and charge your mobile battery when the power is off. The camera is also equipped with a REMOTE connector (2.5mm super mini jack) for remote control* of focus, zoom, start/stop recording, etc.
