High precision autofocus and ND filter
Face detection helps you focus on the main subject - even when it's facing away from the camera. Distance and exposure are tracked with high precision and include live readings from the sensor and sophisticated colour recognition. ND filters are built into the lens to suppress incident light. Filters can be selected (1/4, 1/16, 1/64 or VYP) according to the environment. This feature is useful, for example, when you want to shoot at slow shutter speeds in bright daylight.
5-axis HYBRID image stabilizer
To optically stabilize the image of the Panasonic HC-X2E, electronic image stabilization detects and corrects camera shake in the lens. Function O. I. S. The lens system incorporates a bearing motor that reduces friction and improves small-range blur correction, such as hand tremors.
10-bit 4:2:2 internal recording
Record 4:2:2 10-bit colour profile up to LongGOP UHD 29.97p/25p (150 Mbps) or FHD 59.94p/50p (100 Mbps) using SD cards. Output 10-bit UHD 59.94p/50p frames via HDMI.
Versatile recording mode
It supports high bitrate of 200 Mbps for 59.94p/50p video recording with HEVC codec (LongGOP/10 bit 4:2:0/MOV). Super Slow Recording supports 10-bit FHD recording at 120/100 sn. /s* and 4K (UHD) VFR from 2 to 60 sn. /s** for accelerated and slow-motion footage and allows for highly creative expression through video.

HLG/13 EV V-Log for HDR video production
The X2 is equipped with HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma) capture mode, one of the standards associated with HDR. In addition, it supports V-Log, which is also available on Panasonic VARICAM and LUMIX mirrorless cameras and provides a 13 EV range. Combined with a compatible V-Log camera, it offers the possibility to obtain a uniform image in post-production during colour grading.
3.5-inch LCD display with touch control
An LCD monitor containing approximately 2,760k dots with an RGB pixel structure for high readability in bright light and an electrostatic touch panel for easy menu selection. Simultaneous output to the LCD/EVF continuously displays the LCD monitor image, regardless of whether the EVF is being monitored or not.
Full-HD live streaming and wireless control from tablet or smartphone
The Panasonic HC-X2E digital camera offers HD streaming that is compatible with RTSP/RTP/RTMP/RTMPS protocols allowing direct connection and distribution of relays for concerts, sporting events and news updates to Facebook, YouTube, etc. Wi-Fi module is built-in, so only the body can connect to Wi-Fi. Wireless camera setup and lens control is also possible using the HC ROP app on a tablet or smartphone.
Triple hand rings and tilting eyepiece viewfinder
The X2E has triple manual rings on the lens for focusing, zooming and aperture control. Manual functions provide professional control and allow fast and intuitive operation of the camera. The 2,360K-dot colour viewfinder includes a convenient tilting option. The large eyepiece is comfortable on both left and right eye.
Terminals for 2-channel XLR audio input, SDI/HDMI output and LAN terminal
Optional XLR audio input with +48V Phantom Power Supply/MIC/LINE option with manual volume control is provided for both 2 channels. It also supports audio recording in 24-bit high-resolution linear PCM with a professional microphone. The output of UHD 4:2:2 10-bit via HDMI and FHD 4:2:2 10-bit via SDI enables a variety of applications. When shooting in V-Log mode, V-Log or V709 (HDR or SDR when shooting HLG) can be selected for each of the SDI, HDMI and LCD video outputs. Wired LAN connectivity enables stable live streaming even in environments with unstable Wi-Fi networks. Streaming via 5G smartphones is also possible via USB connection sharing.
Two-code recording and user buttons
The Panasonic HC-X2E digital camera records images simultaneously in two different formats, such as main (UHD/FHD) and secondary (FHD), etc. This achieves an efficient workload (only MOV format is supported). User buttons can be assigned 48 functions.A total of 14 user buttons are available: nine on the body and five on the LCD touch panel. O buttons. I. S. and D. ZOOM can also be used as user buttons.
