High-resolution sensor
At the heart of the Panasonic L1 is a 4/3-type BSI CMOS image sensor that works with a powerful processor. The sensor, with an effective resolution of 20.4Mpx, captures fine details and textures with a high dynamic range. The multi-aspect function maintains the same angle of view when changing the aspect ratio to 4:3, 3:2, or 16:9. This system helps to preserve the full angle of view without the need for additional cropping. The back-illumination of the sensor also reduces noise when shooting in low light.
LEICA optics for detailed shots
The fixed LEICA DC VARIO-SUMMILUX lens offers a focal length range of 24-75mm (35mm equivalent). The f/1.7-2.8 aperture helps create images with a shallow depth of field and smooth background blur. Optical image stabilisation effectively suppresses hand shake at longer shutter speeds. With the macro function, you can focus on subjects from just 3cm away from the front lens. This is useful for capturing tiny details in nature or product photography.
Intuitive analogue controls
The camera's design combines a high-quality surface with a metallic feel and an exterior with a Saffiano leather texture. The metal lens barrel features an aperture ring for direct and quick exposure adjustment. The physical dials and control rings are complemented by an adjustable Fn button for quick access to functions. This allows users to control key exposure parameters by touch without having to look at the display. The compact dimensions make it easy to carry the device in a bag or pocket.
Colour styles and custom LUTs
The Panasonic L10 offers LUMIX photo styles, including L.Classic with low saturation and L.ClassicGold with warm amber tones. The REAL TIME LUT function loads custom colour tables directly into the camera body. This allows you to see a preview of the adjusted colours in real time on the display or in the viewfinder. In addition, the LUMIX Lab mobile app creates custom colour profiles using artificial intelligence from any photograph. This gives you full control over the colour rendering of your images.
High-resolution video recording
This compact camera supports 4K video recording at up to 120 frames per second for slow-motion shots. The integrated stereo microphone captures sound, while the 3.5mm jack is used for connecting an external microphone. The hot shoe on top of the body holds a flash or other accessories. The hybrid shutter can handle continuous shooting at speeds of up to 30 frames per second.
Vertical composition and sharing
The 76mm tilting touch screen makes it easy to shoot from unusual angles and perspectives. The user interface automatically adapts when the camera is turned vertically for comfortable portrait shooting. The LUMIX Lab app processes RAW files on the go.
