A built-in tripod

The LUMIX DMC-G80 has an improved version of the optical stabiliser called the Dual I.S. 2. As the name suggests, this gyroscopic technology adjusts the optical lens shift (O.I.S. - Optical Image Stabilizer) and B.I.S. (Body Image Stabilizer, 5-axis) which moves the sensor. And in perfect coordination, they deliver extremely accurate results. Therefore, blurring caused by vibration is greatly suppressed, which means sharp pictures and videos even in low light conditions or when shooting in motion. In other words, you can afford to extend the exposure time by up to 5 EV compared to a camera without a stabiliser. Moreover, the stabiliser works with wide-angle glasses as well as telephoto lenses.

The Venus Engine image processor features faithful colours and a dynamic range, making it easy to fine-tune hue, saturation, and colour brightness. Together with the sensor, they produce superb quality photos with excellent detail, striking contrasts and great colour rendering.
