Brewer's yeast - yeasts have been known to mankind for centuries and are still used in various forms today for their properties. The properties of brewer's yeast as a traditional means of nutrition are determined by the biochemical composition of the yeast. The substances contained in them are developed by life processes in the cells during fermentation and from barley by the germination process. Brewer's yeast can be imagined as a natural mini-laboratory absorbing from boiled grain malt the whole spectrum of nutrients contained in it - for example B vitamins, minerals, trace elements, proteins, essential amino acids and a whole range of other beneficial substances.
Properly functioning intestines
There are billions of bacteria - "good and bad" - living in our guts. It is important that the ratio is in balance, because 70% of our immunity is formed in the gut. Optimally, prebiotics should be consumed together with probiotic bacteria. Probiotics take care of the balance of the intestinal microflora and prebiotics provide the necessary "food" for the probiotics. This is the only way they can do their job in our microbiome, because without fibre, probiotic cultures cannot survive. Preparations that contain probiotics and prebiotics are called symbiotics.
