Screen protector protects your phone screen

Why is tempered glass better screen protection than TPU film?
Thin TPU film protects the device screen from minor scratches. However, it does not protect against sharp objects that easily penetrate the soft material. A tempered glass screen protector offers high protection because the solid glass absorbs impact energy from a fall. Thin TPU film absorbs less impact energy, which instead transfers to the device. Falling onto the phone therefore risks breaking the screen, while the TPU film screen protector survives. When you touch a tempered glass screen protector, it feels like the screen of the device itself, whereas TPU film feels like plastic.
