Dietary supplement to support immunity, proper function of the nervous system, muscles and bones, mental activity and reduce the level of fatigue and exhaustion. Its compositioncontributes to normal homocysteine metabolism. It is also specially adapted for people with increased nutritional needs folic acid, vitamin B12 and vitamin D3.
Increase intake of vitamin B12 and folic acid
The current population is generally deficient in vitamins B12, D3 or folic acid. The cause is a one-sided diet without important nutrients, and for vitamin D, lack of exposure to the sun. These people need to increase their intake of vitamin B12 and folic acid. PARKOVIT is also used for chronic drug-induced nutrient deficiencies in patients with Parkinson's disease.
Active ingredients of Parkovit 30 tablets
- Folic Acid - Also referred to as vitamin B9, folate or folacin. It contributes to normal homocysteine metabolism, promotes proper mental activity and immune system function. It contributes to reducing the level of fatigue and exhaustion. During pregnancy, it promotes the growth of germ tissues and participates in the process of cell division. The most common sources are the liver, yeast, leafy vegetables, but also whole grain cereals, mass, milk, eggs and legumes.
- Vitamin D3 - Contributes to the normal absorption of calcium and phosphorus and to the maintenance of normal bones, muscles and teeth. It also supports the normal function of the immune system and participates in the process of cell division. We get it mainly from sunlight, to a small extent also from the diet, such as oily fish and fish oil (cod, cod liver, sardines, mackerel and salmon) beef liver, yolks, butter, milk and dairy products.
- Vitamin B12 - Contributes to normal homocysteine metabolism, energy metabolism and nervous system function. It has a positive effect on mental activity. It also contributes to the normal production of red blood cells, the process of cell division and the normal function of the immune system, and helps to reduce the level of fatigue and exhaustion. The main source of this vitamin is animal products: eggs, milk, cheese, meat and offal.
