The Philips AUT8940/10 water filter uses modern, nature-inspired filtration technology to deliver exceptional quality water. The RO membrane technology with Aquaporin Inside® works at the molecular level and only allows water molecules through, ensuring extremely precise filtration. At the same time, the system effectively reduces the content of microorganisms, heavy metals and chemicals, thus providing stably clean water regardless of the condition of the water pipes. Two filtration modes for maximum water control
The Philips AUT8940/10 offers a flexible choice between two filtration modes, so you can adapt the quality and composition of your water to your exact needs. One system, two uses and maximum comfort in the everyday kitchen. RO mode provides high purity water ideal for direct drinking. It is also great for coffee, tea or food preparation, with a flow rate of 1.05 l/min. MF mode, on the other hand, preserves natural minerals and provides a faster flow rate of 2 l/min, making it perfect for cooking, washing food or filling the kettle. Switching between modes is easy and intuitive with a lever directly on the tap. With the ability to use full osmosis only when it is really needed, the Philips AUT8940 supports efficient and economical water management.
FreshPro for continuous fresh water
The Philips AUT8940/10 filter is equipped with the intelligent FreshPro system, whichautomatically takes care of water purity and quality even when the equipment is not in use. After approximately 2 hours of inactivity, it automatically flushes the filter membrane, keeping the entire system in optimal condition. This ensures stable water quality without unwanted fluctuations at the first tapping and every glass of water remains fresh and safe. The function works fully automatically, so with Philips AUT8940 you are assured of maximum comfort without any operator.
