QNAP TS-259 Pro+

QNAP Systems launches another NAS server based on a new, energy efficient, dual-core Intel Atom processor as a two-disc solution designed especially for smaller businesses or for home use. With Intel Atom D525 at a frequency of 1.8 GHz, 1GB DDR2 memory, and fast flash DOM, server provides reliable and high performance, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. The support of up to two 2 TB drives, hot-swap design (exchange disks on the fly), was added to support RAID 0 and 1, two Gigabit LAN ports, five USB 2.0 ports and two e-SATA connectors.

TS-259 Pro + supports platforms such as Windows, Mac, Linux and UNIX operating systems. There are other advanced features such as iSCSI target service (max.256 iSCSI devices), Online RAID Capacity Expansion, Online RAID Level Migration, AES 256-bit encryption, Wake-on LAN, SMS and e-mail alert, BitTorrent and Emule download, timing on and off the server and ultimately support up to two IP camera for online monitoring of objects.
