There's also a sniper button (located on the side of the mouse within thumb's reach), which automatically lowers the DPI when pressed and returns to the original value when released. This allows for more precise aiming when playing shooters (FPS games), for example, when you are using a scope or a sniper sight. Using the software, available in Czech, you can customise not only the sensitivity but also assign macros to individual buttons or adjust the LOD (Lift-off distance) – the height above the mousepad at which the mouse stops responding to movement. With the Rapture BANSHEE, you can choose between 1 or 2 mm.
