High Super HD Resolution and Varifocal Lens
At the heart of the optical system is a 1/2.7" CMOS sensor, which produces a clear image with a resolution of 2560 × 1920px. The varifocal lens with 3x optical zoom complements the flexible field of view with a horizontal angle of 48°–90° and a vertical angle of 37°–68°. For efficient data flow management, the device uses the H.264 video compression format, saving storage space while maintaining high levels of detail.
Infrared and Colour Night Vision
In low light, the classic infrared night vision with twelve IR LEDs and a range of up to 12m is activated. For situations requiring true-to-life detail, colour night vision is available, which uses four powerful LED spotlights with a colour temperature of 6,500K and a total power consumption of 2.7W to instantly illuminate the monitored area. Integrated artificial intelligence algorithms recognise specific objects in the field of view, including human figures, cars and animals. If a defined area is breached or motion is detected, the system reacts immediately. It triggers a built-in light and sound alarm in the form of a siren and simultaneously sends a notification to the mobile app or via email.
Two-Way Communication
This Reolink E Series E540 IP camera has a built-in high-sensitivity microphone and speaker. This technical solution enables real-time two-way audio transmission, facilitating direct communication with people near the camera or quickly warning unwanted visitors remotely. This allows users to communicate with family or react to events in front of the lens regardless of their current location via a connected mobile phone.
Flexible Recording Storage
Users have several independent methods for storing the captured video footage. A MicroSD card can have a capacity of up to 256GB, and recording can be set to continuous 24/7 recording or scheduled recording triggered exclusively by detected motion. Alternatives include backing up to the manufacturer's cloud storage or a Network Video Recorder (NVR). Stable wireless connectivity is provided by a dual-band Wi-Fi connection operating on 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequencies, complemented by an RJ-45 LAN port for a wired connection. Device management and live streaming are handled by the manufacturer's app for iOS, Android, Windows and Mac OS, with full support for the Google Assistant voice assistant.
