MSI GeForce RTX 3050 GAMING X 8G
MSI GeForce RTX 3050 Gaming X 8G—the Most Affordable DLSS-Enabled Graphics Card
If you want to play most games in Full HD resolution with modern graphical effects, the MSI GeForce RTX 3050 Gaming X 8G is for you. Built on powerful NVIDIA Ampere architecture, this graphics card features dedicated 2nd generation RT and 3rd generation Tensor cores, new streaming multiprocessors, and high-speed GDDR6 memory to handle the latest games. Compared to the popular GeForce GTX 1050, you get roughly 3x the gaming performance.
Key Features—MSI GeForce RTX 3050 Gaming X 8G Graphics Card
- Advanced NVIDIA Ampere chip delivers top performance for Full HD gaming
- Efficient cooling delivered by a pair of TORX 4.0 fans
- At low loads, the fans stop on their own
- DLSS, ray tracing and Reflex support
- 550W power source recommended
- Outputs: 3× DisplayPort 1.4 and 1× HDMI
GeForce RTX 3050 Graphics Card—Efficient Cooling
A pair of specially-designed TORX 4.0 fans provide a 50% increase in air pressure compared to conventional fans to keep the MSI GeForce RTX 3050 Gaming X 8G graphics card operating at an optimal temperature. Efficient cooling is ensured even at maximum load, and if you're not playing games, the fans don't spin at all.
Enjoy Higher Frame Rates with NVIDIA DLSS
GeForce RTX 3050 graphics cards boast enhanced dedicated AI processors that enable Deep Learning Super Sampling, or DLSS for short. The idea is to take the highest possible frame rate that graphics are computed in—for example, Full HD—then use sophisticated algorithms to convert graphics to 4K resolution. All this happens in real-time and without the player noticing. Of course, the output resolution you choose is entirely up to you. If you have a Full HD monitor, the DLSS method gives you a 720p resolution, ensuring a higher frame rate.
New Visual Experiences with Ray Tracing
Ray tracing is a sophisticated method that produces stunning visuals by simulating how light behaves in the real world to calculate the image from the observer's position. This allows for extremely faithful simulation of physically correct reflections, refraction of light and overall scene illumination. More than 150 top games and apps use RTX to render realistic graphics with incredibly high performance.
NVIDIA Game Ready Drivers
The GeForce Experience app comes with official Game Ready drivers, which automatically install. One of the many features is the ability to optimise the graphics settings of individual games to the exact hardware you are using. NVIDIA leverages the power of the cloud data centre to test thousands of PC hardware configurations and find the best balance between performance and image quality. As a result, you can look forward to automatically configured personalised graphics settings based on your PC's graphics card, processor and monitor.
