The world has lots of heroes. but only one of them is god!
You can recognize him by the hammer. Without him, he won' t even hit. He is a god and also a rebel. And maybe he will become a legend. If he tames his own pride.
When the arrogant warrior Thor ( Chris Hemsworth ) is expelled from his native Asgard on Earth, he loses his miraculous abilities. His brother Loki ( Tom Hiddleston ) wants to take advantage of Thor' s current weakness and send an army of omnipotent understandings to him, unleashing hell on Earth in the spirit of the saying “When the forest is felled, splinters fly“. If Thor wants to become what he used to be and earn his “hammer“, he must stand up to the invading troops and save the Earth. In doing so, he finds out what real heroism is.
