Rowachol 20 capsules
Rowachol capsules are used to help treat gallstone formation if you are already taking bile acid medicines (prescribed by your doctor) to treat gallstones, or if you have had a procedure called lithotripsy (crushing gallstones with a shock wave). The preparation stimulates the production and secretion of bile and relieves spasms of the smooth muscles of the bile ducts, and contributes to the dissolution and excretion of gallstones.
Dosage
Always take this medicine exactly as directed in the package insert or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If you are unsure, consult your doctor or pharmacist. Unless otherwise directed by a physician, the recommended adult dose is 1 to 2 capsules 3 times daily before meals. The capsules are swallowed whole.
Contraindications
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you think, that you might be pregnant, or you're planning to get pregnant, check with your doctor or pharmacist first, before using this product. Do not take this product in the first three months of pregnancy and during breastfeeding. This product is not intended for use in children and adolescents as there are insufficient data for this age group.
Notice
Consult your doctor or pharmacist before using Rowachol. The product is intended for adults only. If you do not feel better within 3 days or if you feel worse, you must consult a doctor.
Storage
This medicine does not require any special storage conditions. Keep this product out of sight and reach of children.
