The SAGE SES876BST Espresso Lever Coffee Machine with Impress Puck System offers perfect dosing and tamping every time, ensuring less mess and a cup of coffee that leaves the perfect impression. The dose of freshly ground coffee is automatically calculated based on the last grind. The integrated conical grinder allows a choice of 25 grinding coarseness settings. For optimal coffee extraction, the correct dosage of the coffee and its even tamping are essential. This is achieved by filling the centre of the lever with a precise amount of freshly ground coffee directly from the grinder. The ground coffee in the lever is evenly compacted by a lever tamper, which creates 10kg of pressure and finally compresses the coffee by turning it slightly by seven degrees. A full and complex coffee flavour is achieved with the ideal dosage of 18 g of freshly ground coffee beans that fit into a high-quality 54 mm diameter lever. The perfect caramel crema on the espresso is ensured by a low-pressure pre-steaming followed by high-pressure extraction.
