Doubled Levels of Selfie Quality
Smile! With the dual front camera, you can get a perfect looking selfie every time you press the shutter button. The combination of 16Mpx and 8Mpx sensors will always make great-looking shots. In addition, you can tweak photos with the "Live Focus" feature for easy focus adjustment even after taking a picture. You can also take advantage of a wide range of stickers, different effects and camera modes which are suitable for all occasions.
Get the Shot in Any Light
Due to its dual front camera, the Galaxy A8 is always ready to take exceptional selfie shots, and the rear side camera is equally as impressive. The rear 16Mpx camera features an f/1.7 aperture and a larger 1/2.8" sensor with 1.12µm pixels to guarantee crisp and gorgeous images regardless of the light conditions. Of course, you can also use the camera to shoot Full HD video as well.
Works even in Difficult Conditions
Do you work in a dusty environment? No problem. Do you like to take romantic photographs in the spring rain? Go for it! IP68 certification is a matter of course for the Samsung Galaxy A8 mobile phone. As a result of its resistance to water and dust, the phone can comfortably accompany you anywhere, for example, on a demanding trip or to a wild party. Its extra durability is complemented by its long battery life which is provided by its 3000mAh battery.
Never Miss a Notification Again
The Super AMOLED screen of the Galaxy A8 smartphone displays notifications even when the phone is locked, deactivated or simply placed on your desk. With the practical Always On Display feature, you do not have to wake the phone up or pick it up just to check the current time, or to check your notifications.

A Virtual Safe for your Data
You can keep important data on your phone without any worries. To unlock it, you can use facial recognition or fingerprint technology alongside all of the traditional methods, and your valuable files will be protected at all times in the special Secure Folder. This folder encrypts all of the content that you place in it and only allows you to access it.

Higher Speeds, More Storage Capacity
Edit your captured photos, work on important documents, or enjoy a challenging game. You can do all of that at the same time and the Galaxy A8 won't slow down. The eight-core processor Exynos 7885, comes with 4GB of RAM, and provides you with enough power to handle multiple applications at the same time. With the option of inserting a microSD card with a capacity of up to 256GB, you will not have to worry about having space for your files when the 32GB of internal memory is full.
