Created for Day and Night
Inspiration doesn't pick an ideal time of day to strike; it can come at any time. That's why you need a camera that is ready to capture the moment under any conditions. Dual Aperture and optical stabilisation make the Galaxy S9 12Mpx camera an incredibly useful tool to have. Its wide angle lens intelligently switches between F1.5 in low light to F2.4 in brighter conditions, ensuring that you're able to capture crystal clear shots even in the middle of the night. It simply adapts to the amount of light by changing its size, just like the human eye. Of course, there is also the capability to choose the aperture manually. Whichever way you choose, you can be sure that your photos will be of the highest possible quality, day or night.
The Charm of an Endless Moment
Joy and shock on the faces of friends. An epic skateboard trick. Popping a balloon. The flutter of an insect's wings. Moments that last for mere seconds are countless, but with the Galaxy S9, you can finally capture them. Even the most short-lived of moments can be recorded to enjoy in all their beauty. Super Slo-mo shooting at 960 frames per second turns a fleeting moment into a long-lasting and fully-detailed shot. Use the Super Slow-mo setting to automatically start filming when the camera detects motion and to capture up to 20 slow-motion segments when shooting manually.
Turn Your Selfie into an Emoji
Watch your messaging come to life with an emoji that looks just like you. From your selfie you can easily create an animated emoji that tracks your movements, as well as a variety of stickers to make chatting with your friends more fun. Simply shoot with the front-facing camera, create your 3D avatar, and adjust its appearance - whether you do it according to the truth or your current mood is up to you. Use the AR emoji in your apps just like you would any other graphic. The only difference is that your emoji will be truly unique. It's yours alone.
Enjoy Richer Sound
Sound on the Samsung Galaxy S9 has been given the utmost attention. The stereo speakers were expertly-tuned by AKG. They are able to play 40% louder than the previous Galaxy model and boast deeper bass performance. The Dolby Atmos surround sound technology also contributes to the extraordinary audiovisual experience of watching high-definition movies on this phone. Because of this, you will enjoy a much richer sound than you've ever been able with your mobile.
Understand the World
Bonjour! How are you? Auf Wiedersehen! You might already know basic phrases from the most widely-used European languages, but what about exotic alphabets from the far corners of the world? With Samsung's newest mobile phone, even those won't be a problem. Within the Galaxy S9 camera is the integrated Bixby virtual assistant, which can deliver real-time, automatic translations (among other features). Simply point the camera at whatever text you do not understand, and Bixby will translate it for you.
Six Ways to Unlock Your Phone
Iris scanner. Face recognition. Fingerprint reader. Unlock with a pattern. A unique password. A numeric PIN. From a wide range of security options, choose the unlocking method that suits you best. The Intelligent Scan combines face recognition and iris scan technology. As a result, your Galaxy S9 can identify you even in low light. If you prefer to use the fingerprint sensor, you'll definitely appreciate its new location. You'll always be able to easily reach it when holding your phone normally.
The Samsung Ecosystem
With Samsung products, discover a more connected world. The Galaxy S9 smartphone is the perfect device for communication both online and with the surrounding environment, and when you use your Samsung account, you'll get even more extensive options for easily syncing your content - it doesn't matter what specific device you have at your fingertips.
Videos and photos taken with the revolutionary Galaxy S9 camera can be easily displayed on a Samsung tablet, mobile, or TV screen.
A Unique View
Samsung Galaxy users have become accustomed to the first-class, edge-to-edge Infinity Display. The newest addition to this line of mobile phone models will be no exception. The Samsung Galaxy S9 boasts a Super AMOLED display with Quad HD+ resolution and a screen size of 5.8", measured diagonally. It occupies 83.2% screen-to-body ratio, and yet the iris scanner still remains hidden in the minimalist design of the upper frame.
A Workroom in Your Pocket
The Galaxy S9 is simultaneously both a phone and a touchpad. When connected to a DeX Pad (sold separately), the mobile's screen transforms into a touchpad. This helps you easily connect your monitor to your smartphone for a desktop-like experience. Enjoy popular apps and other multimedia content in a larger version on a full-size screen. Now, you won't need to take a laptop with you on a business trip or holiday. With the Galaxy S9 and DeX Pad, you can create your own studio with virtually any display.
