The AF 24-70mm f/2.8 is Samyang's first zoom lens to offer a versatile focal length range that Sony mirrorless camera owners with the Sony FE mount will appreciate. It features excellent image quality and adaptability, making it an ideal choice for photographers and videographers alike. The lens is equipped with a linear stepping motor (STM) for quiet, smooth and precise focusing.Thanks to the parfocal design, the lens holds the focus point when changing focus, ensuring professional results especially when shooting video. It also minimizes the so-called. focus breathing, which is changing the angle of the shot while focusing, and provides a natural transition between scenes.

Superior optical quality and natural bokeh
The optical design includes 17 elements in 14 groups, including special optical elements (ASP, H-ASP, HR and ED) that suppress optical defects and provide high resolution across the entire image. The f/2.8 luminosity throughout the zoom range allows for effective depth of field work, which is useful for both subject isolation and subtle background blur. The nine-blade aperture ensures natural bokeh.
Durable design and comfortable operation
