SAPPHIRE R7 250
The AMD Radeon R7 250 graphics card from the popular manufacturer Sapphire offers its lucky owner a decent performance backed trouble-free operation. A total of 1GB DDR5 operates at a high frequency of 4500MHz. The graphics engine utilises the most advanced 28nm manufacturing process. Features 512 stream processors and ticks on the edge of 925 MHz.
Key Features
- It provides good performance at a reasonable price
- Support for the latest interface Mantle, Vulkan and DirectX 12
- Non-reference cooler is quiet and keeps a low temperature
- Supports 4K resolution via the HDMI connector
Solid performance at a reasonable price
The card is most suited to playing old PC games, but if you do not need to see the full details of the game it can cope with newer titles as well. A huge surprise seems to be the presence of a completely new programming interface Mantle. It is able to squeeze the maximum performance from the hardware, compared to DirectX which allows up to nine times call rendering functions. With the cooler it boasts a very quiet operation, then of course there is also the low power consumption. The card is fitted with an analogue D-Sub and DVI and modern HDMI.
