The Seagate IronWolf 10TB hard disk is one of the high load internal HDDs for NAS storage solutions. 3.5" HDDs are designed primarily for desktop PCs, data centres, and other data-processing devices. One of the main characteristics is clearly the rotational speed of the HDD. The 7200 rev/min RPM delivers better speeds when working with multimedia and data. The hard disk provides a storage capacity of 10000 GB. The drive features a 256 MB memory cache. You can link the Seagate hard disk and the PC or other devices is facilitated via the SATA III interface.
Seagate IronWolf 10TB HDD Key Features
Read speed up to 210 MB/s and write speed up to 210 MB/s
256 MB memory cache
Seagate 3.5" disk for ordinary drive bays
Standard power consumption is 10 W, while in stand-by mode it holds at 8 W
All the data communication takes place through the SATA III interface
Other Hard Disk Features
Platter HDDs have a special construction. Inside the hard drive there is a mechanism that uses moving platters, complete with hard disk heads that read and write the data. These mechanical parts are admittedly more sensitive to shocks, but at the same time you get a great combo of a low price and great storage capacity. The key criterion that determines the speed of a platter hard disk is the number of platter revolutions per minute, generally known as RPM. In case of the Seagate IronWolf 10TB, you can look forward to 7200 rev/min RPM. This is great news for people who demand more from their devices, such as graphic or video editors - in short, people who work with large amounts of data. System responsivity and stability is also affected the embedded buffer memory known as cache. The Seagate HDD features a 256 MB cache that keeps the last written data for their speedy reading.
Connecting the Seagate Hard Drive
If you want to install the Seagate IronWolf 10TB in your laptop or other device, it requires a 3.5" slot. All data transfer happens through the SATA III interface, boasting a standard speed of 6 Gbit/s. The technology is one of the best HDD data transfer options available and delivers a speed of 600 MB/s.

Vážený produktový manažéri Alzy,
Neviem či ste absolvovali súkromnú informatickú fakultu vysokej školy v Užhorode, ale MTBF znamená Mean time between failure, nie mean time before failure.
Pokiaľ je na tomto disku pravdivé, že
Mean Time Before Failure = 2 000 000 h

Případně, jestli by šlo časté parkování hlaviček nějak omezit.
