Dobrý den. Mám raid 10 složený ze čtyř disků, po dvou s označním ST1200VN0007 a ST1200NM0007. Bude tento disk ST1200VN0008 vhodný k nahrazení vadného disku v poli? Děkuji za rychlou odpověď.

Seagate IronWolf Pro 12TB CMR
The Seagate IronWolf Pro 12TB CMR hard drive ranks among the 3.5" HDDs are designed primarily for desktop PCs and data centres. One of the main characteristics is undoubtedly the rotational speed. The 7200 RPM RPM ensures better system response across the board. The hard disk provides a storage capacity of 12000 GB. The storage features a 256 MB memory cache. All the data communication between the Seagate hard disk and the PC or other devices is facilitated via the SATA III interface.
Seagate IronWolf Pro 12TB CMR Hard Disk Key Features
- Read speed up to 250 MB/s and write speed up to 250 MB/s
- 256 MB memory cache
- Seagate 3.5" drive fits into classic larger bays
- Typically, the power consumption of the hard drive is 7,8 W, while in stand-by mode it makes 0.8 W
- All the data communication takes place using the SATA III interface
- HDDs don't have much resistance against physical shocks, but it's also the most cost-effective storage solution available
- RAID technology support provides improved data loss prevention
Other HDD Features
Platter HDDs have a special construction. The enclosure conceals a mechanism that utilises moving platters accompanied by disk read and write heads. These mechanical parts don't take shocks and impact well, but this weak point is well-compensated by a great combo of a low price and great storage capacity. The crucial criterion that determines the speed of a hard disk is the number of rotations per minute (RPM). In case of the Seagate IronWolf Pro 12TB CMR, you can look forward to 7200 RPM RPM. This is welcome news for people with higher requirements, such as graphic designers, gamers, video editors, and people who tend to use large amounts of data. File access speed and stability is also impacted by the disk buffer, usually called cache. The Seagate HDD is equipped with a 256 MB cache that stores the last used data for their fast retrieval and reading.
Connecting the Seagate Hard Disk
If you want to mount the Seagate IronWolf Pro 12TB CMR in your laptop or other device, it must be equipped with a 3.5" slot. Data sharing happens via the SATA III interface with a speed of 3 Gbit/s. The technology is one of the most popular HDD data transfer options available and delivers a throughput of 600 MB/s.
