Hi-Fi Audio with a Dual DAC Chip
To ensure exceptional decoding and amplification of the audio signal, the EC Mini is designed with a high-quality set of components. It has an exclusive dual D/A converter setup with two ES9219 D/A chips from ESS Sabre Technologies. The DAC chips are known for their exceptional performance, promising low distortion and a high SNR. Alongside the premium dual DAC setup, it also features a dedicated LTA8092 pre-amplifier chip, two dedicated RT6863 headphone amplifier chips, and a range of other premium components such as Panasonic capacitors, ELNA, low-noise KDS oscillators, etc.—these specially designed audio circuits promise nothing less than pure sound reproduction.
Wide Range of Output Options and Long Battery Life
Several output options are available on the EC Mini, including two headphone outputs and one pre-amplifier output. It supports both unbalanced and balanced headphones with 3.5mm and 4.4mm output ports. The headphone section has a rated output of up to 248mW at a 32-ohm impedance load. As for the pre-amplifier line-out, an analogue RCA port is available on the device. The RCA pre-amplifier has a maximum rated output of 2.1Vrms. The Shanling EC Mini is powered by the acclaimed 18650 battery assembly that distinguishes their H7. The total capacity here is 6800mAh, with a promised battery life of up to 25 hours when playing from MicroSD and up to 7.5 hours when playing CD media.
Shanling Eddict App
The EC Mini also has full integration with the Shanling Eddict multimedia app, available on both Android and iOS devices. The app will help you remotely control both CD and digital media playback on the device. The EC Mini is also equipped with a digital touchscreen and physical media buttons for convenient control.
