The SilentPower LAN iPurifier Pro filters electrical noise and interference in computer networks connected to audio systems. This network filter removes parasitic interference transmitted via Ethernet cable from routers or switches. The device performs optical galvanic isolation of the network signal and then regenerates it. This cleans the data transfer to end devices such as network players, 4K multimedia devices, Apple TV, or D/A converters. The coupler supports the Gigabit Ethernet standard with transfer speeds of 10, 100, and 1000Mbps.
The device uses optical galvanic isolation technology to completely break the electrical connection between the input and output. The incoming Ethernet signal is first converted into light pulses and then converted back into an electrical signal. This process prevents unwanted electrical noise from spreading to connected audio components. The resulting data stream remains completely isolated from network interference.
After passing through the optical isolation, the binary data is reconstructed using integrated active circuits. This step corrects timing errors and reduces jitter, which negatively affects the accuracy of digital-to-analogue signal conversion. The device precisely restores the structure of the Ethernet stream before sending it to the network player. The result is a more stable synchronisation of the entire audio system.
The filter fully supports the Gigabit Ethernet standard with transfer speeds of 10, 100, and 1000Mbps. It maintains full network throughput without any slowdown or increased latency during data transfer. Users can seamlessly stream high-resolution 4K video formats or run demanding network tasks. The device operates on a Plug & Play basis, with no software installation required.
The device is powered via a USB-C input requiring 5V and 1A. The included USB mains adapter and cable provide basic power. More demanding users can connect external power supplies like the iPower2 or iPowerX. These optional sources further reduce residual noise in the power line.
The device's body is made of metal, which helps to shield it from external electromagnetic interference. Its compact size makes it easy to place in the immediate vicinity of the end audio device. The front panel features indicator lights to check connection status and transfer speed. The brightness of these diagnostic LEDs can be adjusted in three steps.
Installation requires no complex network parameter adjustments or IP address configuration. The input RJ-45 port connects to a router or switch with a standard cable. The optically isolated output RJ-45 port runs directly to a music streamer, Apple TV, or D/A converter. It is recommended to place the filter as close as possible to the target signal receiver.
