
Sinupret syrup is a herbal medicine used to treat acute and chronic inflammation of the sinuses (rhinosinusitis) and respiratory tract and as a supportive treatment in antibacterial therapy.
Children 2-5 years:
2.1 ml; total dose 6.3 ml (3×2.1 ml)
Children 6-11 years:
3.5 ml; total dose 10.5 ml (3×3.5 ml)
Sinupret syrup is a herbal medicine used to treat acute and chronic inflammation of the sinuses (rhinosinusitis) and respiratory tract and as a supportive treatment in antibacterial therapy. The initial symptoms of sinusitis are manifested by a runny nose, followed by a stuffy nose, pain and a feeling of pressure in the face, especially around the nose. The product can be used by adults, adolescents and children older than 2 years. Patients with chronic sinusitis and airway infections can take this product only after consultation with a physician.
Do not take Sinupret Syrup if you are allergic to gentian root, evening primrose flower, elder flower, sorrel flower, vervain flower or any other ingredient in this product.
Check with your doctor or pharmacist before taking Sinupret. If symptoms persist for more than 7-14 days, worsen or return repeatedly and/or if you develop a fever, nosebleeds, severe headache, purulent nasal discharge, impaired vision or facial numbness, you need to consult a doctor, because these symptoms or findings are generally considered to be serious warnings in all forms of rhinosinusitis, that require examination by a specialist and urgent treatment.
Sinupret syrup contains 8 % vol. alcohol, i.e. up to 0.44 g of alcohol in 7 ml, which is equivalent to 11.0 ml of beer, 4.6 ml of wine. It is harmful to alcoholics. It should be considered in pregnant and breastfeeding women, children and high-risk groups such as patients with liver disease or epilepsy. Sinupret syrup contains maltitol solution.
