The small residential heat recovery unit Soler&Palau RESPIRO 150 PRO is designed for single-family houses, apartment buildings, but also for small offices. It can easily replace existing non-functioning fans with an installation duct diameter of 160 mm (RESPIRO 150 RD / RESPIRO 150 PRO) or 100 mm (RESPIRO 100 RD). This eliminates the need for additional structural modifications, intervention in the wiring or additional provision of condensate drainage (liquid resulting from the precipitation of air moisture). The long connection extension, which includes the heat exchanger, simply slides into the original hole in the wall, adjusts to the desired length and connects the exterior and interior terminations. The unique design of the unit ensures easy access to the internal parts - and filters - for maintenance and cleaning.

Modes of operation
Automatic mode - in automatic mode, the fan speed is set automatically by the unit using humidity and light intensity sensors. Manual mode - manual mode allows manual speed adjustment (30/45/60 m³/h). The sensors do not interfere with this mode. Night mode - silent mode for operation during night hours. The speed is reduced to 15 m³/h. Boost mode - short-term operation at maximum speed with a fixed time period of 20 minutes, designed for rapid ventilation of the room.
Description and design
The small Soler&Palau RESPIRO 150 PRO residential heat recovery unit is made of durable white hardened plastic and its interior part is equipped with a design front cover. The extension, which contains the internal parts of the unit, is designed for direct installation in a 25-50 cm thick wall. The ceramic heat exchanger is equipped with a G3 class coarse particle filter at both ends and the average thermal efficiency of the heat exchanger is up to 78% (maximum up to 94%).
Functions and operation
Soler&Palau RESPIRO 150 PRO has a total of 4 speeds (3 speeds + night mode at reduced speed), operating mode setting and wireless IR remote control with LCD display. It is equipped with an integrated hygrostat and a light intensity sensor, on the basis of which the automatic mode works. Thanks to the alternating operation, the speed switching by means of an integrated humidity sensor and the accumulation of thermal energy from the waste air in the heat exchanger, there is no excessive heat loss caused by the supply of fresh cool air and thus no increase in the costs for additional heating - as is the case with conventional ventilation through open windows. Up to 16 units can be interconnected and synchronized at the same time.
