Sony A6400 digital camera touchscreen delights with high resolution

Set up your Sony Aplha A6400 mirrorless camera the way you need it
The Sony Alpha A6400 mirrorless camera will also satisfy photographers looking for easy-to-access manual settings. A total of 8 buttons can be tailored to your photographic preferences. You can assign any of the 89 functions to all buttons and controls. My Menu and My Dial make it easy to assign the function you want for faster access when shooting.
Real-time intelligent object tracking
When photographing a moving person in the distance, the tracking system captures the entire body, with the focus area transitioning seamlessly between the face and eyes depending on the subject's position. The Object Recognition Algorithm processes spatial information through colour, object distance (depth), texture (brightness), and face and eye information - all at high speed in real time. After setting up Touch Tracking in the menu, simply select the object by touching the monitor. When taking photos or movies, the camera automatically starts tracking the subject.
Touch focus control: intuitive focusing and shutter release directly on the display
With the Touch Pad function, you can easily move the current focus position while looking into the viewfinder. Just slide your finger across the screen until you reach the point you want to focus on. To move the focus, even to the edge of the frame, just touch the screen with Touch Focus. With Touch Shutter, you can set the focus and activate the shutter with a single touch.
Visualisation of the settings screen for customisation
The Custom Settings screen has an illustration of the camera controls, showing which button or switch you are currently assigning. When setting up the function menu, you can view the structure of the actual screen with the list of functions. All eight buttons and controls can be assigned any of the 89 functions. The different functions depend on whether you're taking photos, shooting videos or using playback mode.
Imaging Edge™ Remote, Viewer and Edit features
Enhance your photos with Imaging Edge computer applications. With the "Remote" function, you can control and monitor the live capture on the computer screen. The "Viewer" function allows you to quickly view, rate and select photos from large image libraries. And the Edit function is used to develop RAW data into high-quality photos. Get the best out of your Sony RAW files and have more control over your files.

More Specifications
Sony Corporation is a Japanese company founded in 1946. Its headquarters is located in Tokyo. Its beginnings were humble. The first product sold under the Sony brand was a transistor radio. It was those radios that played a pivotal role in the company's expansion in the 1960s and the world quickly began to associate Sony products with a reliably stellar price-performance ratio.
In the 1970s, Sony was severely affected by the global economic crisis. Many analysts considered the company effectively defunct and could see no future for it. However, they underestimated the famous Japanese perseverance and courage. The crisis was not a disaster for Sony; on the contrary, it served as a launching pad to even greater heights. The company recovered and soon changed the media landscape with the development of the CD and later the DVD. In the early 1990s, Sony achieved another major success with the introduction of the PlayStation gaming console. It is the gaming consoles that best represent the intersection of the three key areas in which the company operates today – electronics, video games, and the entertainment industry.
