The men's ALFA Stette APS GTX M hiking boot is designed for a variety of terrain, from dense forests to exposed mountain ridges. The construction combines a synthetic upper with an integrated protective cover and a functional GORE-TEX membrane. Stability and traction are provided by the Vibram outsole, while the overall technical design emphasises low weight and anatomical foot support.

The main upper material is a blend of nylon and bio-circular Dyneema fibre. This technical fibre provides high tensile strength and resistance to mechanical abrasion while maintaining low weight. The design includes an integrated stretch sleeve that surrounds the ankle and effectively prevents the ingress of dirt, snow or stones. The concept of the footwear is based on long-term use, which is matched by repairable elements that extend the life of the product.
Waterproof and breathable
Climatic comfort is ensured by the ePE GORE-TEX membrane. This laminate creates an impenetrable barrier to external moisture and water, keeping feet dry even in the rain or walking through wet grass. At the same time, the material allows for effective sweat and water vapour to escape from the interior to the outside, preventing overheating and moisture build-up during intense movement.
Outsole and traction in the field
The shoes are equipped with Vibram sole with Megagrip compound. Specific rubber chemistry combined with an aggressive tread pattern increases grip on a variety of surfaces, including wet rocks and muddy ground. The outsole design ensures stride stability and efficient power transfer, which is crucial for safety in more technical sections.
Cutting ergonomics and weight
The shaping of the inner compartment is based on an ergonomic cut that respects the natural anatomy of the foot and allows it to move freely. Despite the use of durable materials and protective features, this hiking series maintains a low weight of under 500 g. Reduced weight minimizes muscle and joint fatigue during long transitions.
