SwitchBot Curtain Rod 3 is a device designed to automate the control of curtains or curtain rods. It is an intelligent motor that attaches to an existing rod and allows you to control the opening and closing of the curtains using a smartphone, voice assistant or timer. The product also offers a Touch & Go function, which completes the job for you if you start to pull the curtains. You can control the curtains with the SwitchBot Remote (not included) or the voice assistant (when paired with the control unit, available separately). The SwitchBot Curtain Rod 3 is designed to be easy to install and compatible with various types of curtains and curtain rods. It runs on a battery that lasts for up to 8 months. Solar panels can also be added. This technology makes it possible to automate the control of curtains and drapes and integrate them into the smart home.
Holds up to 15 kg
Add the Curtain Rod 3 system to the app, then install and calibrate it by following the simple on-screen instructions on your smartphone. You'll be done in no time. For double hinges, 2 switches will be required. The Curtain Rod 3 system is designed with a load capacity of up to 15 kg in mind. When you connect Curtain Rod 3 to the SwitchBot Hub Mini (available separately), you can access additional features such as control via simple voice commands. It's compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant and also supports Siri Shortcuts. The product also works with IFTTT and SmartThings and can be automated and connected to other devices in the SwitchBot ecosystem.
Control your curtains conveniently from your bed
Now you can conveniently control your curtains via the app. There is also a small SwitchBot Remote, available separately, that allows you to control the system remotely. It operates extremely quietly, reaching only 25 dB in silent mode, which is ideal for those who have trouble sleeping or are sensitive to noise. The SwitchBot app not only allows you to open and close windows, but also gives you convenient access to a range of other features. For example, you can set up to 5 operating schedules, use the delay function or use the Beta light sensor to operate according to the current lighting conditions.
