Tanno-Hermal Lotio is a medical device that, on the basis of phys. -chem., adstrin. properties contained syntheticsecret drying effects.

Dosage and method of use

Dosing:
Tanno-Hermal Lotio is applied thinly to the affected areas of the skin several times a day as needed after shaking the bottle properly. More frequent use is possible if necessary.


Use:
Tanno-Hermal Lotio is a medical product which, on the basis of the physicochemical, astringent properties of the contained synthetic tannins, has a drying effect in wet, infected skin diseases. The contained synthetic tannin and the solid compounds zinc oxide and talc bind the secretion in the wound and form a protective film over the areas of the skin with disease changes. By drying out the inflamed and swollen areas of the skin and the associated scab formation, it removes the breeding ground for bacteria and thus counteracts the further spread of skin infection. A side effect of the drying process is a noticeable reduction in itching and irritation on the affected skin areas due to the protective film formed. In this way, Tanno-Hermal Lotio protects irritated skin so that it can recover undisturbed.

Use Tanno-Hermal Lotio to dry wound secretions caused by inflammatory changes, wetting and itching in skin surface infections. Tanno-Hermal Lotio is particularly suitable for application to skin folds (armpits, genital and anal area, under the breasts, between the thighs, between the fingers), as an adjuvant in the treatment of diaper dermatitis, as well as topical treatment of itchy or wet rash. Tanno-Hermal Lotio can also be used for excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis). The talc and zinc oxide contained in Tanno-Hermal Lotio particularly promote the drying of fluid-filled blisters, e.g. chickenpox, herpes labialis. Secondarily, itching and wetness are relieved. Tanno-Hermal Lotio can also be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding. There are no restrictions on the use of the product for children and the elderly. Tanno-Hermal Lotio can be used in any age.

Contraindications

Tanno-Hermal Lotio must not be used in case of known hypersensitivity to synthetic tannins, parahydroxybenzoates and their esters (parabens; E 214 - E 219) or other ingredients. Tanno-Hermal Lotio must not be applied to the eyes.

Notice

How long can I use Tanno-Hermal Lotio? If necessary, Tanno-Hermal Lotio can be used for longer periods of time. As a rule, a period of use of 1 to 2 weeks is sufficient. If after 14 days of regular use of Tanno-Hermal Lotio the problems do not improve, or if the problems reappear after stopping treatment, you should see a doctor.

In case of increased perspiration, it is possible to continue using the product for several weeks. Due to the possible irritating effect of synthetic tannin on the eyes, caution is required when using Tanno-Hermal Lotio near the eyes. Adequate precautions should be taken to avoid direct contact with the eyes.

In case of accidental contact of Tanno-Hermal Lotio with the eyes, it is recommended to rinse the eyes for about 10 minutes under running water.


The expiry date of this pack is printed on the bottle and on the paper folder. Do not use the contents of this packaging after this date! Tanno-Hermal Lotio is usable for 6 months after opening. Tanno-Hermal Lotio is for external use only.
