The TCL RP505SWE1 Inverter Compressor is a modern type of compressor that regulates its power continuously according to the current cooling needs (unlike a conventional compressor that only switches on and off) to keep the temperature more stable and efficient and keep food fresher longer. By avoiding gradual restarts, it is also quieter, more durable and more energy efficient (up to 30-40% less than conventional compressors).
No more tedious defrosting
The advanced Total No Frost technology ensures that cold air is circulated by fans throughout the entire interior of the fridge - in both the refrigerator and freezer compartments. Moisture is wicked away so no ice or frost forms and temperature and moisture are evenly distributed, helping to keep food fresher for longer. There's no need to spend a lot of time defrosting and scraping ice, food no longer freezes together and labels remain legible. Lower energy consumption and more economical operation are also pleasant benefits. In addition, no standing water remains in the fridge and no mould forms.
Sterile environment - fresher food for longer
AAT technology spontaneously and permanently releases large amounts of negative oxygen ions through natural tourmaline ore added to the refrigerator lining. The Power Cool function cools down food that has just been put in the fridge (for example, after shopping or cooking) or the fridge compartment to the optimum temperature by temporarily lowering the temperature in the fridge by 2 °C after opening it for a longer period of time. This mode is automatically deactivated after 2 hours to avoid unnecessary power consumption. The Power Freeze function instantly freezes food placed in the freezer by temporarily lowering the temperature to -24°C to preserve as much of its nutritional value, taste and appearance as possible, while quickly restoring the temperature to a basic -18°C.
Precise electronic temperature control
The electronic processor of the TCL RP505SWE1 continuously analyses the readings from the sensors (Temperature Sensor Probe) that monitor the current temperature inside the refrigerator or freezer compartment. Based on this data, the controller then continuously adjusts the inverter compressor operation, regulates the fan speed and adjusts the cooling mode and other components to keep the temperature as stable as possible. Precise temperature control ensures optimal food storage conditions, energy savings by reducing compressor operation, extended appliance life and faster response to temperature changes when opening the door or inserting hot food.
LED lighting - savings and better visibility
LED lighting in the TCL RP505SWE1 fridge brings a range of practical and energy benefits. LEDs are extremely energy efficient - they use up to 80% less energy and last many times longer than conventional bulbs. LED lighting gives off almost no heat, does not affect the internal temperature and does not burden the compressor. The LEDs provide a bright, even light so you can easily find the yoghurt hidden behind the cucumber.
