The Technics SA-C100EG-K mini system brings content from a wide range of music sources together in a single device, boasting a luxurious design and the premium sound quality Technics is known for. The JENO Engine's clock circuit power supply uses the same noise-suppression circuit as Technics' flagship turntable, the SL-1000R, to improve noise reduction. It achieves outstanding sound image localisation and a transparent spatial expression. Full digital amp, JENO Engine
The mini system uses a fully digital amplifier incorporating Technics' renowned digital audio technology. Its digital transmission system processes signals entirely in the digital domain at all stages from input to output. Compared to analogue transmission, this system is less susceptible to signal degradation caused by external noise, so it ensures more accurate signal transmission. The precise signal processing delivers high-resolution digital audio and renders music from an analogue source with its pristine, delicate texture.
Twin power supply circuit system
The power supply design is extremely important in a system containing a CD player, amplifier, digital circuits, and so on. To eliminate any adverse effects on the amplifier, the mini system is equipped with a dedicated power supply for the amplifier circuits, which is completely independent of all other circuits, supplying power to each of the two independent transformers. The wire connections between the two separate transformers and the amplifier circuits are also optimised to reduce noise.
Built-in phono equaliser compatible with MM cartridge
The built-in phono equaliser supports MM cartridges. The phono equaliser amp uses a dedicated power supply and is equipped with a power supply circuit that is different from the control circuit to enhance noise-suppression performance. The equaliser circuit also features a shielded construction to block the effects of external noise and ensures signal amplification without any loss of fidelity.
Space Tune
The mini system is equipped with a Space Tune function, which adjusts the sound to match the room's environment and the installation location so that anyone can enjoy superb music reproduction. By using the Technics Audio Centre app for tablets and smartphones, or by selecting one of the four presets – 'Free', 'Wall', 'Corner' and 'In a Shelf' – the user can achieve the most suitable sound quality for their specific acoustic environment. The L/R Custom feature lets users enter the setting for each speaker individually, adjusting for installation in different conditions. This helps bring out the best possible sound quality in any environment.
Designed for a sophisticated music listening experience
To ensure a consistent look, the mini system's design has been unified with Technics turntables in terms of colour consistency, material texture, and dimensions to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the system. The aluminium top panel incorporates a built-in CD player with a manually operated lid for simple operation and functional beauty.
