Tescoma Paloma, 1 cup

The Tescoma Paloma moka pot lets you prepare strong, homemade coffee in the traditional way. Its appearance harks back to the original design of the Moka Express model from 1933, which remains one of the world's most famous coffee makers to this day. The moka pot's volume is enough to brew one cup of coffee. It is made from food-safe aluminium, which also has a specific influence on the flavour of the drink. The aluminium surface gradually absorbs the coffee's aroma and develops a delicate patina, which is crucial for achieving an authentic taste. This layer builds up over time, so it is recommended to clean the pot only with warm water, without using any detergents, and definitely not to wash it in a dishwasher. The moka pot works on the principle of buoyancy created by heating water, which is forced upwards through the ground coffee into the upper chamber where the finished drink collects. The Tescoma Paloma moka pot is suitable for gas, electric and ceramic hobs.

Use:
The coffee maker itself consists of two parts connected by a filter for ground coffee. After unscrewing them, fill the bottom chamber with cold water, keeping the level below the safety valve. Add coffee suitable for this type of preparation to the filter, reassemble the pot and place it on the hob. Within a few minutes, the coffee will filter into the upper part and be ready to serve. The result is a strong, rich-flavoured drink with an unmistakable aroma.
