Teaching a child to distinguish between individual geometric bodies is not a completely simple task. With the didactic toy Geometric Bodies, the child will get acquainted not only with their individual shapes, but at the same time he will develop sensory perception - touch and sight. The wooden box contains geometric bodies: ball, cube, cylinder, quadrilateral prism, triangular prism, triangular pyramid, quadrilateral pyramid, cone, ellipsoid and ovoid. The set also includes three bases designed for round bodies and five bases copying the base of individual bodies. With the didactic toy Geometric Solids, the child learns to perceive and distinguish three dimensions of solids, the differences between individual solids and their assignment to the respective geometric surfaces.
The didactic toy Geometric Bodies will surely be liked not only by children, but also by their parents and teachers. When playing with geometric bodies, it is recommended to work max. with three bodies - e. g. ball, cube, cone, do not name selected bodies, but leave the baby to perceive their shape only by touch and sight. In the second phase, the child can manipulate the bodies - roll and turn them over and then start naming the individual movements of the bodies. In the advanced stage of the game, the child can sort the bodies into groups according to the shape of the base, place them on the appropriate bases, search for bodies with the same base or learn to recognize views from above. In short, the didactic toy Geometric Bodies offers children and parents an endless number of creative tasks that support the development of the child' s sensory perception and lead to the enrichment of his vocabulary.
