Lze z těchto 8x GLan portů, vytvořit soustavu 4+4 Tj. 4 Porty na přístup na Internet a 4 Porty vyčlenit porty jenom pro vytvoření domácí sítě, (JAIL), zamezit, blokovat veškerý přístup na internet nebo z internetu, ochránit tím domácí síť, vedenou přes tento router.
