A network switch is a functional network element connecting individual devices or other network elements. It is suitable for coordinating network traffic. The TP-Link LS1210GP is supposed to be placed on the desk or wall. The model has a switching capacity of 20 Gb/s. The Switch is equipped with 9 × RJ-45 ports that provide connection with network elements. One SFP connector is there to transport data via optical fibers. 10/100/1000Base-T technology allows data transfer with a speed of up to 1000 Mbit/s. It uses Dual Personality ports, notable for incorporating both the RJ-45 and SFP connector ; however, only one of them can be active at a time. The switch dimensions are 209 × 126 × 26mm. QoS aka Quality of Service technology ensures the switch doesn't get overloaded, and it also allows you to control end station priority. The TP-Link device includes PoE technology, which provides power and signal connection to end devices with a single LAN cable.
