TP-Link TL-WN823N

A mini USB wireless adapter connects your desktop or laptop to your home network using the IEEE 802.11n fast standard. This allows you to transfer files up to 300 MBit/s, which will surely be appreciated by online gamers and HD video enthusiasts who can stream with your computer's adapter, for example, to a game console or multimedia centre in your living room. Equally important is the security of the connection and therefore the adapter is equipped with a QSS button to quickly create a wireless network with security against unauthorized intrusion from the outside.

Long distance speed

The IEEE 802.11n standard, supported by the TP-LINK adapter, is an excellent way to transmit data without loss over a long distance, despite the barriers in an small office or in a large room. Even in buildings with steel and concrete structures all demanding operations such as HD video streaming or VoIP telephony will not be a problem at even greater distances. This advantage will also be appreciated by online gaming players.

SoftAP mode

SoftAP allows this mini adapter to function as a virtual wireless access point. Once enabled, this mode makes it easy to convert an existing wired connection to a laptop or desktop computer to a wireless connection, which can then be shared with other Wi-Fi enabled devices such as laptops, smartphones, or tablets.

Secure connection

Secure your network in a simple way. WPS (WI-FI Protected Setup) support allows you to set up network security almost instantly by just pressing a QSS button that will be secured with WPA2 encryption, offering you much higher security levels than simpler WEP encryption. In addition to the benefits in terms of speed, you do not even have to remember any passwords at all!

Easy to install

First setting up and running the adapter is very easy with the included Easy Assistant CD attached.  Step by step you will enter all the information and parameters needed to get started. With everything you may need, including wireless network setup or security, the program will help you.  Even newcomers will not have to worry about how they should properly set the adapter.
