Detailed High-Resolution Image
The 1/3” Progressive Scan CMOS sensor captures video in 2560 × 1440px resolution at up to 30 frames per second. The fixed lens with a 2.8mm focal length and F1.6 aperture provides a wide field of view covering 102.5° horizontally, 55.2° vertically, and 122.1° screen sizely. Modern H.265+ compression technology effectively reduces bandwidth requirements and significantly saves storage capacity without degrading the resulting quality of the recorded video.
Hybrid Night Vision
The night mode combines classic infrared LEDs and powerful white LED spotlights for greater flexibility in low-light conditions. The system can operate in full-colour mode, providing colourful details even in the middle of the night at a distance of up to 30m. The integrated Smart IR function automatically regulates the intensity of the illumination, preventing unwanted overexposure of nearby objects and maintaining optimal detail throughout the shot.
Smart AI Detection and Active Defence
Integrated artificial intelligence algorithms can accurately distinguish people and vehicles from other moving objects in the field of view. Users have a wide range of detection tools at their disposal, including area intrusion, line crossing, zone entry, zone exit, or unusual sound detection. When an incident is detected, the camera immediately triggers an audible alarm with the built-in siren and activates the flashing white LED spotlights to deter potential intruders.
Two-Way Audio and Communication
The device includes an integrated microphone with a sound capture range of up to 5m and a built-in speaker with sufficient power. This hardware configuration enables full-fledged, real-time two-way audio transmission. Through the mobile app, you can remotely communicate with people near the camera, respond to visitors, or verbally warn unauthorised individuals on the monitored property.
Flexible Recording Storage
Recordings from the security system can be saved on local storage media as well as remote network storage according to individual preferences. The design includes a built-in slot for a MicroSD memory card with support for capacities up to 512GB. For more robust installations, data can be stored on NVR network recorders, cloud platforms, or files can be sent to an FTP server for secure backup.
Connectivity and Application of the TP-Link VIGI C340 IP Camera
Network connectivity is provided by a single RJ-45 Ethernet port with 10/100 Mbps speed support and 802.3af/at PoE power standard. The device fully supports the ONVIF protocol for seamless integration with recorders from other manufacturers. Management and live stream viewing are handled by the VIGI mobile app for Android and iOS operating systems, client software for Windows, or a web interface in modern browsers.
