Tussin is used to treat dry, irritating and difficult to soothe coughs of various origins, e.g. inflammation of the upper respiratory tract, pharynx, larynx, trachea and bronchi.
The registered medicinal product Tussin is indicated for the treatment of:

- inflammations of the upper respiratory tract
- inflammations of the pharynx, larynx, bronchi
Dosage and method of use
Children: up to 7 kg: 0.98 mg (7 drops) 3 - 4 times a day;8 - 12 kg: 1.12 mg (8 drops) 3 - 4 times a day;13 - 20 kg: 1.4 mg (10 drops) 3 - 4 times a day;21 - 30 kg: 1.68 mg (12 drops) 3 - 4 times a day,31 - 40 kg: 1.96 mg (14 drops) 3 - 4 times a day. Adults and children of larger weights:41 - 50 kg: 2.8 mg (20 drops) 3 times a day;51 - 70 kg: 4.2 mg (30 drops) 3 times a day; over 70 kg: 4.9 mg (35 drops) 3 times a day. The drops are taken with tea, water or fruit juice after meals.
Contraindications
For children from 2 months, adolescents and adults. The use of the product in pregnancy and during breastfeeding is decided by the doctor. Read the package insert carefully.
Storage
Always keep the product out of sight and reach of children. Store at temperatures up to 25 °C. Do not dispose of any medicines in wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of products you no longer use. These measures help protect the environment.
