Unitree A2 Standard

The Unitree A2 Standard is an industrial-grade robotic dog designed for field deployment, research and integration in the field. It is based on 12 degrees of freedom (12 DoF) and robust mechanics with max. with a joint torque of approx. 180 N-m, thanks to which it handles stable movement even when working with loads. It comes standard with 1× LiDAR and 1× HD camera for environmental sensing and data collection for navigation and inspection.

Load capacity and off-road capabilities

Unitree A2 Standard is built to handle the load: can carry approximately 100 kg when standing and about 25 kg when walking continuously. In terms of off-road capabilities, it can handle slopes up to 45° and steps up to 30 cm, which is practical for movement in buildings, on ramps and on uneven terrain.

Development platform and interfaces for integrations

The standard design assumes development deployment: In addition to Wi-Fi 6 / Bluetooth 5.2 wireless connectivity, it also offers RS485, CAN, GbE and USB-C industrial interfaces and 12 V / 24 V / BAT power outputs for external modules. This simplifies the integration of sensors, computing modules and accessories.

Hot-swap battery and long battery life

Dual hot-swap battery system allows longer operation without long downtimes. Capacity is 9,000 mAh (1×) / 18,000 mAh (2×) and typical battery life is >5 hours without load or >3 hours with a 25 kg load.
