It offers an adjustable gripping force of 5 to 120N, a 90mm stroke and a movement speed of 50 to 375mm/s, so it can adapt to delicate handling as well as working with heavier objects. Precise position control is complemented by high-speed communication at up to 1,000Hz for fast and smooth responses. The Dex1-1 can be used on its own or in conjunction with the Unitree G1, H2 and R1 humanoid robots.
The Unitree Dex1-1-V1 allows you to smoothly adjust the closing force in the range of 5 to 120N, so the grip can be adapted to the size, weight and nature of the object being handled. The parallel jaws with a 90mm stroke provide ample space for working with various objects and enable use in sorting, moving, assembly or laboratory tasks.
The 0.1mm resolution of the gripper tip position allows for precise control of the jaw opening and repetition of learned movements. The Dex1-1-V1 is therefore also suitable for developing robotic manipulation tasks where precise grip position, repeatability and controlled contact with the object are important.
The movement speed can be adjusted from 50 to 375mm/s and the jaws can be fully closed in just 0.24 seconds. High-speed communication with a control frequency of up to 1,000Hz enables prompt responses to commands and smooth changes in position, speed and grip force during dynamic robotic tasks.
The compact 550g design offers a surprisingly high load capacity. The Dex1-1 can handle a load of up to 20kg with a form-fit grip, while the maximum load for a friction grip is 5kg. This expands the range of applications from handling small components to moving significantly heavier objects.
The Dex1-1-V1 communicates via a high-speed 485 interface with speeds of up to 6Mbps. The control system supports working with angle, angular velocity, torque, stiffness and damping, while the 15-bit absolute encoder provides precise feedback on the drive status. The gripper can be operated as a standalone unit or integrated into the Unitree G1, H2 and R1 humanoid robots.
