A smartphone telescope with 25× optical magnification, a 30mm lens, and a 1.8° field of view. It allows you to observe and photograph the Moon, the Sun, the brightest deep-sky objects, and terrestrial targets. The free Gravity app for Android and iOS helps with setup, object finding, and image capture. The Ultimate Pack includes a tripod, a carrying case, and accessories for safe solar observation.

The Vaonis Hestia is a compact telescope that uses your smartphone's camera to observe and photograph the sky. Simply place your phone on the top surface of the device, align its main camera with the eyepiece, and launch the free Gravity by Vaonis app. A patented six-lens optical system provides 25× optical magnification and focuses light directly onto the phone's sensor. The Hestia allows you to capture details of the lunar surface, sunspots, bright star clusters, nebulae, and galaxies that you wouldn't normally see with your phone's camera alone.

The Gravity by Vaonis app guides the user through the initial setup, helps to position the phone correctly, and then guides it to the selected object. It offers separate modes for observing the Sun, the Moon, bright deep-sky objects, and terrestrial landscapes. The Hestia does not include a motorised drive, electronics, or its own image sensor. The user takes care of aiming the telescope manually, while the computing power, display, and camera are provided by the connected smartphone. The telescope itself therefore requires no battery or charging.
The Moon is one of the most suitable targets for initial observation. The 25× magnification allows you to photograph craters, mountain ranges, lunar seas, and other surface details. After fitting the supplied certified solar filter, you can also safely observe the Sun, its spots, active regions, or the course of a partial eclipse. The telescope must never be pointed at the Sun without the solar filter correctly fitted. Under good observing conditions, the Hestia can also be used to capture the brightest deep-sky objects, such as open and globular clusters, bright nebulae, or the Andromeda galaxy. The resulting quality depends primarily on the phone used, light pollution, and observing conditions.

Hestia isn't just for astronomy. Scenery mode allows you to use the telescope as a powerful telephoto lens for photographing distant landscapes, architecture, or nature. Its compact size makes the entire device easy to transport and use on the go.
The Ultimate Pack contains the necessary equipment for both night and day observation. A stable tripod with a two-axis head allows for smooth manual aiming, while a hard carrying case protects the telescope and accessories during storage and transport. A solar filter and a tool for safer solar aiming are also included.
