

VERAL is a medicine that contains diclofenac (diclofenac sodium), a substance from the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). They are used in the treatment of pain and inflammation.


VERAL® 25 mg eliminates inflammatory symptoms,such as pain and swelling (edema) and also reduces fever.
Veral is used to treat the following conditions: joint sprains, stretching the muscles, or other post-traumatic conditions, painful menstruation, toothache, headache.
VERAL® 25 mg enterosolvent tablets. An over-the-counter medicine for internal use. 25 mg diclofenac sodium in 1 enterosolvent tablet. Read the package insert and consult your doctor or pharmacist before use.
Adults and adolescents aged 15 and over:
Acute painful conditions
One tablet (25 mg diclofenac) once or every 4 to 6 hours as needed. No more than 3 tablets (75 mg) should be taken within 24 hours. For these indications, the product is intended primarily for short-term use. Patients should not take the product for more than 7 days without consulting a physician.
Inflammatory diseases
The recommended daily dose is 100-150 mg of diclofenac divided into 2 - 3 sub-doses. For less severe conditions, in long-term treatment and in adolescents over 15 years of age, a dose of 75-100 mg per day may be sufficient. In the treatment of primary dysmenorrhea, the dose can be increased up to 200 mg per day, treatment should be started at the appearance of the first symptoms and should last several days depending on the difficulties.
Pediatric population:
Children and adolescents up to 15 years of age
Only in the diagnosis of juvenile idiopathic arthritis. For juvenile idiopathic arthritis in children over 6 years of age and 20 kg body weight, 1-3 mg/kg/day divided into 2 to 3 doses.
SUBMISSION METHOD:
The preparation should be swallowed unchewed, with or immediately after a meal. If it is necessary to achieve a faster onset of analgesic effect, it is advisable to administer the preparation before meals. It is recommended to drink the medicine with a glass of water and remain sitting or standing for 15-30 minutes after application to prevent the medicine from getting stuck in the oesophagus, where it could cause irritation of the mucous membrane.
Over-the-counter medicine. Read the full package leaflet carefully before taking this medicine. The product is not intended for children under 15 years of age. For children aged 6 years and older (with a body weight greater than 20 kg), the product is intended (after a doctor's recommendation) only for the treatment of juvenile idiopathic arthritis. The product should not be taken during pregnancy unless absolutely necessary.
Store at temperatures up to 25°C in the blister pack to protect the product from moisture. Keep the blister in the box to protect the product from light. Do not use after the expiry date marked on the packaging.
Shelf life:
It refers to the last day of that month. Keep out of sight and reach of children. Medicinal products must not be disposed of in sewage or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of products you no longer need. These measures help protect the environment.
