The Most Secure External Drive on the Market
The VERBATIM Secure Keypad SSD 256GB external drive uses AES 256-bit hardware encryption in real time to protect your data. Therefore, your password is not stored on the disk, making this device one of the most secure data storage options available. You do not have to worry about losing access to your data - you can unlock the external drive by entering a unique PIN code of up to 12 digits directly into the keyboard. In the event of 20 unsuccessful password entry attempts, the disc is locked and formatted.
Higher Reliability than with a HDD
The VERBATIM Secure Keypad SSD 256GB external drive uses flash memory to store data. In addition to higher performance, the read and write speeds offer higher reliability than with conventional external HDD due to the absence of moving parts. Additionally, compared to HDD drives, SSD drives have lower power consumption and are absolutely noiseless.
