The ViewSonic PX704HD projector uses DLP technology to project in native Full HD 1920×1080 pixel resolution. A light output of 4000 ANSI lumens gives the image a high brightness that maintains good visibility even in rooms with normal daylight or artificial lighting. The light source is a 240W UHP lamp which, combined with Supercolour technology, reproduces dynamic and true-to-life colours. A high native contrast ratio of 22000:1 contributes to image depth and detail in dark scenes. This Full HD projector displays an image with a screen size of up to 7620mm and features dual HDMI ports for easy switching between multiple signal sources.
The device projects an image with a native resolution of 1920×1080 pixels in a 16:9 aspect ratio. The high 22000:1 contrast ratio and Supercolour technology help to display sharp details and deep colours in both dark and light scenes. Thanks to its short-throw projection type, it can project a large image even in smaller rooms. The projection distance ranges from 1 to 10m, and the screen size size can be set from 30" to 300". Automatic vertical keystone correction simplifies image geometry setup.
The light source is a 240W UHP lamp that generates a luminous flux of 4000 ANSI lumens. This output is sufficient for clear projection in well-lit rooms. In normal mode, the lamp life is 4000 hours. Activating the SuperEco power-saving mode extends the lamp life up to 15000 hours and also reduces cooling noise from 34dB to 25dB. The device's total power consumption in normal operation is 295W, dropping to below 0.5W in standby mode.
It integrates a 3W speaker for basic audio, so you don't need an external system. The projector does not use its own operating system, but it is ready for 3D content, so when connected to a compatible source and using 3D glasses, it plays a three-dimensional image. You can easily update the software by connecting a laptop via a USB cable. With compact dimensions of 11.5×30.9×23.4cm and a weight of 2.7kg, the projector is easily portable and suitable for ceiling installation or free-standing on a table.
The range of connectors covers common needs for connecting external devices. The projector offers dual HDMI 1.4 ports, which let you have two signal sources connected simultaneously and easily switch between them. A 3.5mm input and output are provided for audio. A key feature is the presence of a USB-A power port, which is used to power wireless HDMI adapters such as Chromecast or Apple TV. This eliminates the need for an additional external power supply. For control and service purposes, the device is equipped with an RS232 port and a service USB port.
