The Vonyx Karaoke Microphone Controller works as a complete karaoke system for home entertainment. This device combines a mixer with two included microphones, which you connect using the 6.3mm Jack connectors. An AUX and RCA interface are used for connecting to other equipment. The whole system connects easily to an amplifier or active speakers. Simple setup and instant readiness make it easy to operate. Your sound source can be a phone, tablet or laptop.
The device offers a wide range of connectors for integration into your home audio setup. On the front panel, you'll find two 6.3mm Jack inputs for connecting microphones. The rear panel contains RCA connectors for both audio and video input and output. Connecting to an external amplifier or active speakers takes just a few moments. There is also a 3.5mm jack connector for connecting source devices.
On the main panel, you will find clear controls for adjusting the final sound. Each microphone input has its own rotary dial for independent volume adjustment. The shared TONE potentiometer is used to adjust the colour of the voice. The integrated echo effect with adjustable intensity adds a spatial dimension to your singing. The entire system is switched on and off on the body of the device.
This system comes with two wired microphones included in the package. This allows you to sing duets without needing to buy any extra accessories. Each singer can set their own volume level to suit their needs. This means duets sound balanced, with neither voice overpowering the other. Just plug the microphones into the provided sockets and you're ready to start.
The system is powered by a 12V mains adapter that plugs into a standard socket. The device operates on an AC voltage of 220V to 240V at a frequency of 50Hz. The manufacturer recommends operating the device in an environment with a temperature of 5°C to 35°C. Proper functionality is maintained by a regular cycle of discharging and recharging the lead-acid battery every 3 months. The system has low electricity consumption during operation.
The mixer has very compact dimensions for easy placement. The device measures 74 × 133 × 50mm. The total weight of the device is 0.9kg, which makes it easy to carry if needed. The compact size allows for stable placement on a shelf next to an amplifier or television. The black finish will fit into any home cinema.
In the box, you will find everything you need to start your karaoke system straight away. In addition to the mixer itself, the package contains two karaoke microphones with cables. A mains adapter for powering from the electrical grid is also included. You can connect to a signal source with the included cables, including an RCA composite AV cable. An instruction manual is also included.
Microphone principleA dynamic microphone is suitable for outdoor performances, live broadcasts, music production, etc. It uses a magnet and a moving coil to capture sound.
A condenser microphone is mainly used for studio purposes. It has higher sensitivity and lower noise. It needs to be powered separately.
Frequency rangeThe frequency range indicates the range of frequency values that the microphone records. The wider the range, the more sounds it can capture.
Low frequencies (e.g. 20–200Hz): Bass, the deepest notes of instruments (double bass, kick drum) and male voices.
Mid frequencies (e.g. 200–3000Hz): The body of instruments, the foundation of the voice where the ear is most sensitive, important for speech intelligibility.
High frequencies (e.g. 3000–14000Hz): Treble, details, sibilance and the "shine" of the sound.
Air band (above 14000Hz): Gives recordings a sense of expensive, super-high-quality sound and space.
SensitivityMicrophone sensitivity is the ratio of output voltage to acoustic pressure. It expresses how loud a signal the microphone produces at a given acoustic pressure; higher sensitivity means a stronger voltage and is suitable for quiet studios, while lower sensitivity is better for noisy environments as it doesn't unnecessarily amplify ambient noise.
