WD Gold 10TB
The WD Gold 10TB hard drive is one of the high load internal HDDs for NAS storage solutions. 3.5" HDDs are made chiefly for desktop PCs, data centres, and other data-processing devices. One of the crucial characteristics is obviously the number of revolutions per minute (RPM). The 7200 rev/min RPM ensures improved system performance and faster data transfer. The total capacity of the hard drive is 10000 GB. The storage uses a 256 MB memory cache. You can link the Western Digital hard disk and a computer or other device takes place through the SATA III interface.

Other Hard Disk Features
Standard HDDs are notable for their construction. Inside the enclosure there is a mechanism with moving platters accompanied by hard disk heads that read and write the data. These mechanical parts don't take shocks and impact well, but at the same time you get a great combo of a low price and great storage capacity. The important criterion that affects the speed of a hard disk is the number of platter revolutions per minute, generally known as RPM. With the WD Gold 10TB, you would get 7200 rev/min RPM. This is great news for people who demand more from their devices, such as graphic or video editors - in short, people who work with large amounts of data. Data transmission and stability is also impacted the embedded buffer memory known as cache. The Western Digital hard disk includes a 256 MB cache that keeps the last written data for their speedy reading.
Connecting the Western Digital Hard Disk
If you want to mount the WD Gold 10TB in your laptop or other device, it requires a 3.5" slot. All communication with the computer happens using the SATA III interface with a speed of 3 Gbit/s. The technology is one of the best HDD data transfer options available and delivers a throughput of 600 MB/s.
