The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum 6 uses an AI camera for precise recognition of more than 220 types of common obstacles, such as shoes, bathroom scales, and other items on the floor. The robot adjusts its route based on their position and flexibly avoids them, so it can continue cleaning smoothly without constant supervision.
Dual extension for cleaning edges and corners
The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum 6 features a dual extendable system with a movable mopping roller and side brush, enabling it to better follow the edges of walls and reach deeper into corners during cleaning. This design also helps to cover hard-to-reach areas around furniture and chair legs, where the robot's normal path might not reach the edge.
Effortlessly overcomes thresholds and steps
Thanks to its AI camera, the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum 6 can recognise obstacles in its path and actively lift a pair of mechanical chassis components upon detection. This allows it to overcome thresholds and steps up to 4cm high and continue cleaning seamlessly between different parts of the home, such as between the kitchen, bathroom, or balcony.
Intelligent carpet detection
The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum 6 uses an ultrasonic sensor to automatically recognise a carpet and then lifts the mopping roller by 1cm. At the same time, it increases the suction power to more thoroughly remove dust and dirt from the carpet's surface while helping to prevent it from getting wet. For carpets over 0.8cm high or with long pile, Xiaomi recommends setting the carpet avoidance mode in the app.
Hot water washing and hot air drying
The Omni station for the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum 6 automatically washes the mopping roller with hot water at a temperature of up to 80°C, which helps to loosen and remove residual dirt. After washing, it automatically dries with hot air, and a full drying cycle can take as little as 2 hours. According to laboratory tests, the 4L clean water tank allows for cleaning up to 300m² without the need for frequent refilling.
Automatic dust disposal for less frequent maintenance
After cleaning, the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum 6 automatically returns to its Omni station, where the contents of the dust container are transferred to a large-capacity dust bag. According to internal lab tests, this bag lasts for up to 75 days without needing to be replaced, meaning routine maintenance takes up minimal time.
Compact design for cleaning under furniture
The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum 6 has an ultra-slim body just 9cm high, allowing it to easily get under beds, cupboards, sofas, and other low furniture. This means it can clean in places that a regular vacuum struggles to reach, helping to remove dust hidden under furniture.
