Wi-Fi connectivity and speed
The system simultaneously uses two frequency bands for optimal data flow distribution. The speed in the 2.4GHz band reaches 300Mbps, which is sufficient for normal web browsing and penetrating solid obstacles. The 5GHz band provides speeds of up to 867Mbps for activities requiring high data throughput, such as video streaming or online gaming: 2.4GHz (300Mbps), 5GHz (867Mbps).

Xiaomi Mesh technology can link up to 10 units into a single network with a shared name. Wireless network security
Data transmission protection meets modern standards for secure home and business connections. The device supports WPA-PSK, WPA2-PSK, and the more modern WPA3-SAE encryption protocols for complete protection against unauthorised access. Any changes to login details are also automatically synchronised with all paired smart accessories in the home. Built-in connectors on the back of each unit provide a physical connection to other network elements. Two full gigabit ports with WAN/LAN auto-detection are available, which let you easily connect desktop computers, TVs, or gaming consoles with a cable, without the need for complex manual setup.
