Why does a person cough and how can ACC® 200 mg hard capsules help?
In most cases, coughs are caused by viruses that enter the airways. Viruses cause inflammation of the mucous membranes, which leads to increased production of thick mucus, which then causes a persistent and bothersome cough. To relieve a cough, the airways need to be cleared of thick mucus. Acetylcysteine, the active ingredient in ACC® 200 mg, dissolves thick mucus in the airways. Thin mucus can be coughed up more easily, thus relaxing the airways.

As a result of the disease and the body's fight against infection, the amount of free radicals in the airways increases, damaging lung cells and forming the so-called. oxidative stress.
