Dosage and method of use
Always take this medicine exactly as directed in the package insert or by your doctor or pharmacist. If you are unsure, consult your doctor or pharmacist. Unless otherwise recommended by a physician, adults and adolescents over 12 years of age usually take 2 hard capsules 3 times daily (equivalent to 1800 mg of soy phospholipids per day). The capsules are swallowed whole with plenty of liquid, preferably with a meal.
Contraindications
Essentiale contains purified soybean oil. Do not take Essentiale if you are allergic to soy, peanuts or any of the other ingredients in the product. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you think, that you might be pregnant, or you're planning to get pregnant, check with your doctor or pharmacist first, before taking this medicine. Due to insufficient data, Essentiale should not be used by children under 12 years of age.
Storage
Keep out of sight and reach of children. Store at temperatures up to 25 °C in the original inner packaging to protect the product from moisture. Do not use this product after the expiry date stated on the box and blister after the abbreviation EXP. The expiry date shall be the last day of the month indicated.
Notice
Treatment with Essentiale cannot prevent liver damage due to the use of harmful substances (e.g. alcohol). The soybean oil contained in the product may cause a severe allergic reaction in sensitive individuals.
